BUILDING · LEARNING · OPEN TO THE RIGHT ROLE

NEAL SHARMA / LEXINGTON, KY

I turn complicated data into useful systems.

Software developer and analyst working across finance, data, AI, and real-world systems. I like the messy problems: figuring out what matters, connecting the pieces, and building something that actually helps.

FINANCE · COMMERCE · HEALTH · AI

Different domains. Same instinct: understand the system, find the signal, build the useful thing.

SELECTED WORK / 01—05

Projects should tell a story.

Not a wall of logos. These are the projects that best explain how I think — the problem, the decisions, the tradeoffs, and what I learned building them.

HOW I WORK

Technical depth, analytical thinking.

Fintech engineering and financial analysis are different roles, but they reward many of the same strengths: systems thinking, data fluency, and clear judgment.

01

ENGINEERING

Products, APIs, databases, integrations, and production-minded systems.

02

FINANCE + ANALYSIS

Financial context, market research, metrics, modeling, and decision support.

03

DATA + SYSTEMS

SQL, operational data, healthcare technology, troubleshooting, and automation.

04

AI

Human-owned product decisions with AI-assisted implementation and reasoning.

ABOUT / THE THROUGH-LINE

I started where software has to work.

Neal Sharma

My background is healthcare technology: PACS, databases, integrations, infrastructure, and production systems where accuracy and reliability aren’t abstract engineering goals.

That work pulled me deeper into SQL, development, automation, and systems thinking. Now I’m applying the same mindset to products of my own — from personal finance and trading research to fitness data and AI-native tools.

“I’m happiest somewhere between ‘why is this happening?’ and ‘I built something that fixes it.’”

Away from the terminal: finance, sports, lifting, and an unreasonable amount of cat involvement in product naming.

NEAL SHARMA / 2026

Let’s build something useful.

I’m exploring opportunities where software, finance, data, or AI overlap — especially roles where being comfortable across disciplines is an advantage.
